General & Cosmetic Dentist
Imagine walking into a dental office and actually feeling at ease — calm, cared for, and confident that you’re in the right hands. That’s exactly the experience Dr. Ishita Rahman has built her practice around.
A graduate of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Rahman didn’t stop there. She pursued years of advanced postgraduate training to earn two of dentistry’s most respected honors: Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) — awarded to fewer than 7% of dentists nationwide — and Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), recognizing her mastery of dental implant care. These aren’t just letters after her name. They represent thousands of hours of continuing education, rigorous testing, and an unwavering commitment to getting it right for you.
At the heart of Dr. Rahman’s practice is a passion for advanced bite management. Using the principles of Gneuromuscular (GNM) dentistry — a science-based philosophy that focuses on how your jaw muscles, joints, and teeth all work together — she is able to uncover the root cause of TMJ disorders, chronic jaw pain, headaches, and bite imbalances that other approaches often miss. When your bite is in harmony, your whole body feels the difference.

For patients who have struggled with dental anxiety, past trauma, sensory sensitivities, or difficulty getting numb, Dr. Rahman offers a full spectrum of sedation options — including IV sedation, oral sedation, and nitrous oxide — so you can receive the care you need in a way that feels manageable and safe. She also proudly welcomes patients with special needs, bringing the same patience, expertise, and warmth to every individual who walks through her door.
When teeth have been lost or severely compromised, Dr. Rahman offers All-on-X hybrid implant surgery — a life-changing, full-arch restoration that gives patients a complete, fixed set of teeth in a single surgical experience. From the planning stage through recovery, her patients feel supported every step of the way.
Dr. Rahman is an active member of the ADA, MSDA, AGD, and ICOI, and continuously advances her skills to bring the latest evidence-based techniques to her patients at Bite Dental Center.
Outside of the office, she treasures time with her family, volunteers at her children’s school, and shares her home with a beloved cat and dogs.
Whether you’re finally ready to address years of jaw pain, explore implant options, or simply find a dentist who truly listens — Dr. Rahman is ready to help you take that next step toward a healthier, more comfortable life.
